Sports Documentaries To Watch

Since all of us are in quarantine, this is the perfect time to start brushing up on your sports history

Not all of these will end in happy endings. But, these documentaries achieve the mission of storytelling.

Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez

Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez” Review — The Bark
This documentary gave me chills. (Google Images)
  1. This documentary can be found on Netflix. This premiered in January and gives insight into former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez had all the talent in the world. But we did not know he was going through so much pain on and off the field. He went from being one of the best players in football to being a cold-blooded murderer.

I suggest watching this in the daytime. If you love crime but also are a sports fan than this is your documentary to watch.

Bipolar Rock ‘N Roller

This documentary gets personal for me. Mauro Ranallo is the lead commentator for Showtime Boxing, Bellator MMA and for WWE NXT brand.

He is one of the more colorful broadcasters in sports. He has had his share of demons he has had to battle.

Ranallo suffers from bipolar disorder which can give him occasional meltdowns and mood swings.

The reason this documentary is personal is because I suffer from anxiety and depression. I know how it feels to feel overwhelmed mentally.

This documentary will open your eyes and hopefully appreciate everybody who has a dream and overcome adversity. This documentary is available on YouTube and Amazon Prime.

Undertaker: The Last Ride

As a big wrestling fan, The Undertaker is one of the most renegotiable faces in the industry.

This is a mini-series with an inside look into one of the industry’s greatest performers.

The Undertaker has performed for over 30 years and has no plans of slowing down. He is searching for that perfect match to his career.

This mini series premiered on the WWE Network.

This is way better than making Tiktok Videos.
